Buy WoW Gold Online - The Advantages And Disadvantages

If you want to get a lot of gold in World of Warcraft, then buying it is certainly one way to do it. Even if you have a strategy guide, it can take a long amount of time to level up and make any decent amount of gold, and you may want to spend that time doing other things.

If you're reading this article, then you're probably thinking about buying gold. So let's take a look at the pros and cons...

The advantages of buying gold:

The good news about buying gold is that gold prices have dropped dramatically since World of Warcraft was first released in November 2004.

When the game first game out, supply of gold sellers was low, and prices were relatively very high. As the game grew in popularity, however, more and more gold farmers (mostly from China) started playing the game heavily to mine gold and sell it to other players. We now have an estimated half a million people in China mining gold and trying to sell it to other players. With the abundance of these sellers, prices naturally went right down.

Some sellers now offer gold for around $5-10 per 1000 (depending on the server), which is many times lower than what gold used to go for. Some sellers still sell for around $100 per 1000 gold, however, so you definitely need to know where to look. But if you make a small investment of around $50 then you can definitely buy a significant amount of gold in World of Warcraft.

Buying gold will then allow you to do more fun things in the game faster, rather than having to waste time at low levels trying to level up your character. If you are busy and have a full time job then it can actually be worth your time to just buy a bunch of gold and do what you enjoy doing in the game, rather than spend hours killing monsters in order to level up and gain skills.

The disadvantages of buying gold:

While buying gold sounds great, it is frowned upon by Blizzard (the company who makes World of Warcraft). Since Blizzard caught on to the fact that so many people are trading gold, they have started banning accounts left and right, and they can ban your account if they suspect you are selling gold. This is a common problem gold sellers have.

Fortunately, you don't really need to worry about this if you're a buyer, as it is only gold farmers who sell the gold that get banned. If you are just buying gold then you won't have to worry about getting your account banned. If you are mining gold 24/7 and selling large quantities of gold to other players, then that is when you have to worry about getting banned.
