Is Psp Music The New Craze?

The PSP is becoming very popular and as it becomes more popular it is being given new areas in which to explore its functionality. The new games being created for the PSP are no longer content to stand alone but rather they use the PSP's internet functionality to allow the player to interact with the rest of the world.

It is fascinating technology and as it continues to evolve it shows that its market appeal is expanding. One of the popular things people like to add to their PSP is PSP music. Music companies all over the world are taking notice of the increase in popularity of PSP music as the music industry continues to struggle to find new ways to increase revenue. In some cases PSP music can be music you already have but in many cases there are more and more online vendors popping up that are offering PSP music in a variety of ways and they are all trying to cash in on one of the hottest hand held game products in a long time.

The interactive nature of the PSP is what is making PSP music so popular. Some websites are offering PSP owners the chance to add PSP music to their PSP for free just to see how it works and then from there the hope is that they will buy in to a regular online PSP music service. Many of the websites that have been offering online music long before the PSP came along are starting to create an avenue where PSP owners can download PSP music from their sites and this is one new way of generating revenue for record companies and music distributors alike.

Special Considerations

While many people like to consider the PSP to be just like a laptop there are limitations that these new vendors of PSP music have to contend with. The screen on the PSP, while having a high level of detail built in to it, is very small so when vendors create a site to sell music to PSP owners they need to take into consideration the fact that we are not dealing with a regular sized computer screen here. The vendors that are bothering to tailor their sites to the limitations of the PSP are the ones that winning in the PSP music market.

Many PSP owners are experimenting with PSP music by downloading albums they already own to their PSP so they can listen to them later on. This is becoming very popular and one of the reasons that music companies like this is because it is difficult to share music from a PSP. Remember that the music companies are looking for new ways to generate revenue and not for new ways to lose it!

What Causes The "Red Ring Of Death" On The Xbox 360?

There is one sight that is guaranteed to strike fear into the heart of any Xbox 360 owner. What is it? The "Red Ring Of Death" of course! When certain sectors of the light ring on the front of the Xbox 360 console flash red then the console is all but useless as it is experiencing a general hardware failure. According to some sources, 1/3 of all 360 consoles will experience a general hardware failure at some point in time. The "Red Ring Of Death" has become a major issue in the gaming world and is easily the biggest issue facing the Xbox 360 and its future.

Before we can examine the causes of the "Red Ring Of Ring Of Death" it is important to note that different flashing lights on the console mean different things. Upon closer inspection it is possible to see the light ring on the front panel of the console is divided into four sectors. If only the second quadrant is flashing then the console is merely overheating. Simply power it down, unplug and wait for half an hour or so before resuming game-play. It would also be wise to move the console to an area where it receives more airflow. If all four sectors of the light ring are glowing red then the AV cable has not been inserted into the console correctly or has fallen out somehow. Just plug it back in until a clicking noise is heard and it should be "business as usual"

The real problems start when either sector three, or all sectors but number one are glowing red. This indicates a general hardware failure of an unspecified type - basically, something's not right inside the console. One of the biggest problems with a general hardware failure is that it is often very difficult to determine what is causing the issue. A common cause of the "Red Ring Of Death" is the failure of the Nyko Intercooler inside the console. It has also been suggested that hardware failures can be caused by the fracturing of the solder used inside the console due to excessive heat and the wrong type of solder being used during construction.

So what can be done if a general hardware failure is experienced? If the console is still under warranty then it should be replaced by wherever you purchased it from for free (when buying a new Xbox 360 console it would be wise to get an extended warranty so if the "Red Ring Of Death" is experienced the problem can be solved quickly) For those unlucky enough to have no warranty cover then there are only a few options left. Number one is to fork out the hundreds needed to buy a new console that may wind up experiencing the same problem as the original one so is probably not the best solution. Number two is to ring up the Xbox 360 technical helpline (1-800-4MY-XBOX for American gamers, 425-635-7180 for international gamers) between 6am to 10pm Pacific time. After explaining the issue down the phone a box will then be shipped out.

When it is received remove ALL cables and controllers, discs from the drive and the hard drive itself and then place the console inside the box and ship it back to the address provided (make sure that you read all the instructions provided) Although Microsoft should be able to fix the problem, there is still a time delay of up to 3 months that can be one of the most frustrating parts of the entire process. There have even been cases of gamers waiting for weeks to receive a repaired console, only to find that it soon experiences the same old problem again!

In my opinion, the best option for the "Red Ring Of Death" victim who wants to get back to playing their Xbox 360 as soon as possible is to fix the problem yourself. Now some of you may be thinking that this is a sure fire way to ruin your console forever. However, there are step by step instructional videos and guides that can be found on the internet that provide all the information required to fix an Xbox 360 from home. After having read many of these instructional guides I can safely say that most of them require no special technical skill or tools and should provide an easy enough way to fix the "Red Ring Of Death" for good.

Computer Keyboard Stickers - Is There a Better Option?

Last year, when I first started studying in the States, I bought a laptop so that I could do my studies more easily. The only problem was that the keyboard was entirely in English, so that it was hard for me to write back to my family and friends in Moscow. You see, Russian letters are different than English ones. I had no trouble downloading the language as a software, but I couldn't figure out where each Russian letter went on the keyboard.

The first solution I tried was computer keyboard stickers. You probably heard about these, but if you hadn't you didn't miss much as you'll soon see. In case you've never seen any computer keyboard stickers, they're these little stickers of foreign language letters that you can place on your keyboard so that you'll be able to type easily in another language. I needed that because I write in Russian to my family back home and some of my Russian friends who are also studying at other U.S. universities..

Anyway, I got those Russian keyboard stickers (they have these in many languages) and spent an hour agonizing on my keyboard trying to figure out where each letter went. It was damn frustrating. And half the time I couldn't get the stickers on straight so I had to redo them.

Eventually I got them right and for a week or two everything was fine. Than I started noticing that my keyboard stickers were becoming frayed. The paper just started to erode. Not only that but the stickers attracted dirt which really ruined the way my keyboard looked (and I paid over 1,500$ for my laptop) and the glue started to seep through so that my fingers were momentarily glued to the keyboard with each stroke. It was very annoying.

At first I thought I just needed to replace my keyboard stickers with a new set, but then a fellow student from China showed me his laptop keyboard and it had English and Mandarin characters. And it had no messy stickers. I asked him if he bought this laptop back in china and he said that he bought it right here in the states. I then asked him how come he had both languages on his keyboard. I mean, both languages looked as if they came off the assembly line with the laptop.

Then he told me about a new service that I think is going to make computer keyboard stickers obsolete. Apparently, you can have your keyboard marked with an additional language. And it's done by laser so it looks and feels just as if it was made that way.

I had mine done in under 2 hours through http://Ikbs-usa.com, and I work with it every day. I just thought I'd write about this new great service. So that if you're thinking about getting Arabic, Russian, Chinese, or any other computer keyboard stickers, now you know that there's another much better option.

USB Pen Drives

By Victor Thomas

While working on the PC, at times need arises to transfer data from one PC to the other PC in different place. This requires an external storage media to save the contents and then transfer it to another system. Previously floppy discs and CDs were used for this purpose and are still being used. However, Floppies can hold only very little amount of data in them and CDs need a CD writer in the PC, to burn the contents into it. Since CD writers may not be available in all the systems, it was a bit difficult to use. This marked the entry of USB Pen Drives. Small, light-weighted, easy to handle and quick to use, USB pen drives are a real boon to the technological field.

A USB pen drive is a small device that is used to transfer data between two PCs with the help of USB port. They are available in a wide range of looks and capacities. Starting from as low as 32MB they can go up to 1GB, 2GB and the latest one being 7GB! This gives an idea of the vastness of data that can be stored in a pen drive. It is very useful and since it is light weighted, it fits perfectly anywhere, right from a handbag to a persons' pocket even. Since it resembles a pen, the name Pen drive. Some also come with other facilities attached to it, like MP3 player, which adds to the many uses of the pen drives!

Using a Pen drive is very simple as well. A USB port is provided in almost all of the PCs and laptops available now. It is connected to the USB port, which is provided usually behind the CPU. If it is difficult to keep removing and re-connecting the pen drive always, a docking bay can be connected to the CPU, which would be long enough and easy for the USB pen drive to be connected. After the drive is linked to the PC from where data has to be transferred, the PC screen shows the information that a new hardware is found. When My Computer section of the PC is opened, a new drive is seen. Here the data that has to be transferred can be saved. Once it is done, the small icon on the screen has to be clicked and Exit has to be pressed. This gives a message that it is safe to disconnect the drive. Once this message comes, the drive can be removed.

Similarly to transfer the data into the other PC, the USB is connected and once the new drive appears in My Computer section, the data is saved into the PC. Thus large capacity of data can be transferred at a faster rate.

Pen drives are dust-proof, shock-free and weighs very less when compared to the other external storage media. They also are very fast in transferring data and get ready for work quite soon. USB pen drive is the most convenient and fastest way to transfer data between computers. What more, with no moving parts and batteries in them, they are cost effective as well.

Visit usbpendrives.org.uk for latest USB Pen Drives and You can read reviews and find best buys on SanDisk, Sony and Kingston Pen Drives.

How To Find New Releases For Your PSP by Using PSP Game Downloads

By Dave Freeman

One of the best features the PSP has is being able to use PSP game downloads instead of having to run out to the store and buy a new game each time you see one you want to try. Here's a simple way to find lots of PSP downloads you can start using today.

You have three main options to find PSP game downloads. Once you start downloading games for your system it can get extremely addictive!

Let's take a closer look:

PSP Game Downloads - Option #1

Your first option is search for websites that offer "free" PSP downloads and try to find games that you want to try. It sounds great at first, however there are a few things you need to know to protect yourself before you try this.

Many of the websites that claim to offer free PSP downloads are full of viruses and spyware. There isn't anyone monitoring these sites so it's extremely common for random people to upload files that will damage your computer or PSP.

Beside this, the biggest problem I have with these websites is that you rarely actually get the game you were looking for. These sites are also known for having extremely slow download speeds.

Many of the files are "corrupt" meaning they don't work at all, and many of them have the wrong titles. You can wait a whole day for something to download just to find out it wasn't what you wanted.

Recently many of these sites have been shut down for spreading viruses and distributing illegal downloads. If you do decide to try them out, do you research and be careful.

PSP Game Downloads - Option #2

This option will protect you from viruses, get you faster download speeds and files that actually work, but it will cost you some cash.

There are PSP download website that charge a monthly membership fee for access to PSP games, movies and music. You can download game whenever you want, but they may also charge a fee for each download you use.

This is a decent option since the membership is usually about $30 a month. That's less than the cost of one game at the store, however there are cheaper ways to get the same downloads.

Let's have a look at your next option.

PSP Game Downloads - Options #3

This last option is very similar to the second, but a lot cheaper. It's the best way to get PSP downloads whenever you want without worrying about putting your computer at risk.

You can find PSP download membership sites that charge a "one-time only" membership fee for unlimited downloads. You will only be charged once - this gets you a membership for life.

All you do is login to the site whenever you want to download a game or movie. They have all the new releases and since they are run by professional companies, the downloads are fast, secure and completely legal.

The memberships aren't expensive ($35-$50) and include the software you need to transfer the games and movies onto your PSP.

You can find out how to get a free trial at the top ranked download sites by going to http://www.pspmaxed.com,

Part of the reason the PSP keeps growing in popularity is the ability to use PSP game downloads. By joining a membership site you get access to all of the games for the PSP, along with movies and other files. It's the best way to keep your PSP full of the newest and most popular games. Happy gaming!

Nokia N95 Mobile Phone Review

The Nokia N95 8GB is the new phone in the N series from Nokia and is basically an upgraded version of the N95. The 8GB has had several changes made to it, most of them involving making things bigger. The phone is quite large at 99mm x 53mm x 21mm and weighs 128g though I feel that makes it feel sturdy without ever feeling brick like. The screen has been enlarged to fit the size of the phone at a massive 2.8 inches and can be accessed either horizontally or vertically depending on what you are trying to do with the phone.

If you are using the N95s 3G video calling service, you can slide out a keypad vertically and you can use it as you would any mobile phone or if you wish to play your latest album or movie you can turn the phone on its side and slide out a playback keypad from the other end featuring a simple display for ease of use. To cope with all the multimedia the N95 has been fitted with 8GB flash memory which is enough to store over 150 music albums or over 6 hours of video at the highest picture settings.

The battery life has also been increased so you are not likely to run out of power half way through the day. The menu system used on the phone is incredibly easy to use and within minutes you'll be able to do anything you want with your phone without having to dig out the manual. Also included with the N95 8GB is a 5 megapixel camera which is capable of producing some very high quality pictures that can then be flicked through, albeit rather slowly, on the high resolution screen capable of producing up to 16 million colors. The Nokia N95 8GB is possibly the first must buy phone on the market.

The Pros And Cons Of A Laptop

A laptop, also called a notebook, is a small mobile computer. Depending on the size, material used for manufacturing it and other factors, its weight ranges from 1 to 8 kilograms (i.e. 2 to 18 pounds).

The source of power is usually a single main battery, or an external AC/DC adapter is used. Apart from supplying power to the laptop, it also charges the battery. To avoid havoc in case of power failure, a 3 Volt cell is provided to run the clock and other vital system processes.

Though laptops are equally capable and powerful as desktop computers, they are much more expensive than similar capability and configuration desktop computer. Size is the unique property of a laptop. The components used in both, laptops and desktops are the same in terms of the functions they perform, but the components in laptops are miniaturized and made to support efficient power consumption.

LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is usually the technology used for the display screen. They have a built-in keyboard and a touchpad as input devices. Provision is also made for connection of external mouse, and even keyboard.

Apart from the advantages like compactness and mobility, a set of disadvantages has also been associated with laptops.

A huge amount of discrepancy is observed when it comes to standardization issues of laptops. There exist worldwide standards for form factors of the peripherals and add-in PC cards used in a desktop computer. But no such standards are as yet enforced for form factors of laptop internals. Electric voltage, motherboard layouts, internal adapters used in connecting the hard disk, optical drive, LCD cable, keyboard and floppy drive to the main board, all still face issues with standardization. These hits hard on the poor user who is uneducated in this relevant field. Apart from them, a bit of difficulty may also be faced by the repair technicians. Familiarization of different parts and hardware that perform the same function is important.

As an outcome of the improper, or all most no standardization, the laptops suffer compatibility problems too. Most of the times, it is not possible to use one manufacturer`s components in the laptop produced by another manufacturer. The reasons behind this can be assurance of product stability, prolong product lifetime, and to avoid dubious warranty issues. Some manufacturers provide the laptops with a set of ports to let the user connect the hardware that he wants to use.

Upgradation of a laptop is another issue. Due to both technical and economic reasons, it is limited. Due to the proprietary designs of the laptops by each manufacture, it is difficult to upgrade them and most of the times even repairing is a costly affair. The standard peripherals, like audio, video, USB, 1394, Wi Fi, Bluetooth, are integrated in the motherboard. Upgrading these thus requires either of external ports, card slots or wireless peripherals. As far as the memory units and batteries are concerned, they can generally be upgraded according to the user`s needs.

Performance is another issue. RAM is shared between program memory and graphic adapters in laptops. Because of which performance of the laptop is affected. The major concern of the designer is compactness and energy efficiency against high performance. Generally, for the home requirement, laptops prove out to be good options for fast achievement of required performance. With new technology like dual core processors and perpendicular recording, laptops` performance is already showing a progressive graph when compared to the desktops.

Laptops can also pose health hazards. Temperature generated by laptop can affect sterility in men. Also, laptop keyboard can lead to RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury). Thus it is advised to place the laptop on a table or desk when working.

Nokia Shows Us What it's Capable of With The N95 8GB

The Nokia N95 8GB is essentially an upgraded version of the previously released N95 mobile phone and it is a far nicer piece of equipment. Pretty much everything that matters has been changed on the new phone, the screen is an enlarged 2.8 inches, the battery life is now several hours longer, the memory has been replaced with 8GB flash memory and they have made it black. There are other smaller changes such as a faster menu system and an alternate camera lens but these are only slight and will go largely unnoticed. The main focus point of the N95 8GB is the memory it now has which enables some very nice uses of its multimedia capabilities including an impressive GPS system which makes use of Google maps to let you know where on earth you are.

The phone is now capable of holding an extensive number of music albums, movies, videos and games, all of which can be played in panoramic view on the visually stunning and huge screen which runs at 240 x 320 pixel resolution. This also comes in useful when you are using the 5 megapixel camera on the phone as with 16 million colors, the pictures you can take are absolutely phenomenal. The only problem with this is when you take a photo it takes a few seconds to appear on the screen making moving targets awkward to capture.

Apart from this there are no downsides to the phone whatsoever. Some will say that at 99mm x 53mm x 21mm and 128g it is a little on the large side but I have found that it just makes it feel more durable and it seems the arguments only come from those with thimble sized phones which seem to have been built for rocket scientists. The Nokia N95 8GB may not be the cheapest on the market but it can be argued that it is the best.

Making Gold Off Different Professions In World of Warcraft

There are different professions in World of Warcraft and each profession has its own distinct characteristics that together with your skill as a player will determine how you earn gold in the game. You need to choose a profession that will work well for you in earning gold especially if you decide to earn gold on your own and not buy from online gold farms.

There are three specific professions under the Gathering category. The professions under this category require little cash outlay so you may want to start the game with any of these professions: mining, herbal gathering and skinning.

Mining involves mining for different precious items around the world. This is one of the most common professions in WoW because it is favored by new gamers. As a miner, you can make gold right away.

Skinning involves the use of a knife to kill monsters to gather leather and other valuable items. This can be a profitable profession especially when you combine it with other professions such as mining.

Herbal Gathering is a very simple profession that involves gathering herbs that may turn out to be valuable in the Auction House. Herbs, flowers and other plants become valuable when there are used for concocting potions. This profession becomes highly profitable when you reach higher levels because then you can create more complex potions that will sell well.

Under Crafting are five professions: Leather working, Blacksmithing, Tailoring, Alchemy and Engineering. Doing leather work is not very profitable but it does help you create items for your troops. You can choose to become a leather worker for a strategic move but if you are looking into earning good gold fast then this is not the profession you would want to begin in.

Black smiths create weapons that can be used in the game. You may not earn too much gold from being a black smith but it can be a good profession if you need weapons for the guild.

Tailoring involves creating patches and other items that can be valuable for your game and the other gamers. Items created by the tailor can fetch good gold in the game.

Alchemy involves a lot of chemistry such as creating potions and others. This can earn you good gold provided you do it right like making sure you have herbal gathering in your profession so that you can get the ingredients for your potion.

Engineering is helpful for building weapons and other items but these items do not sell for high prices at the auction house.

Under the Service category, you have Enchanting and Jewel crafting. Jewel crafting involved creating powerful jewels out of raw gems. This profession must be supported by mining. Enchanting can raise the powers of a player.
