Nokia Shows Us What it's Capable of With The N95 8GB

The Nokia N95 8GB is essentially an upgraded version of the previously released N95 mobile phone and it is a far nicer piece of equipment. Pretty much everything that matters has been changed on the new phone, the screen is an enlarged 2.8 inches, the battery life is now several hours longer, the memory has been replaced with 8GB flash memory and they have made it black. There are other smaller changes such as a faster menu system and an alternate camera lens but these are only slight and will go largely unnoticed. The main focus point of the N95 8GB is the memory it now has which enables some very nice uses of its multimedia capabilities including an impressive GPS system which makes use of Google maps to let you know where on earth you are.

The phone is now capable of holding an extensive number of music albums, movies, videos and games, all of which can be played in panoramic view on the visually stunning and huge screen which runs at 240 x 320 pixel resolution. This also comes in useful when you are using the 5 megapixel camera on the phone as with 16 million colors, the pictures you can take are absolutely phenomenal. The only problem with this is when you take a photo it takes a few seconds to appear on the screen making moving targets awkward to capture.

Apart from this there are no downsides to the phone whatsoever. Some will say that at 99mm x 53mm x 21mm and 128g it is a little on the large side but I have found that it just makes it feel more durable and it seems the arguments only come from those with thimble sized phones which seem to have been built for rocket scientists. The Nokia N95 8GB may not be the cheapest on the market but it can be argued that it is the best.
