Advantages of email faxing services

by Phil

With the rapid growth of Internet users worldwide, Email fax has become one of the latest technologies that change how people connect to each other.

By implementing Email faxing software, users can turn hardcopy documents into Email attachment or vise versa, receive hardcopy fax in Email format. The appearance of Email faxing reduces the faxing cost greatly and provides a powerful alternative for those that cannot afford a faxing machine. Also, one of the best features that internet faxing has is that the technology offers high mobility for those who need faxing while on the move. Internet faxing service does not mandate your presence at your work station or waiting endlessly near the fax machine waiting for that all important fax documents to come across from an important client. Faxes can be transmitted to and from any part of the world, the only requirements being a computer with an internet connection.

For those who wish to know more about the benefits of Internet faxing, here're the major advantages with sending fax online.

Cheaper faxing cost

The initial investment one has to put in to sign up for this service is very minimal compared to the amount of money one has to spend in having a fax machine installed. Not only there is the cost of the machine but since the fax machine prints the document on paper, there is also the cost of an additional phone line, paper and toner costs.

Internet faxing saves you a lot of money in the long run as well. One can sign up for the service for anywhere from $20 to $ 5 per month, depending on their usage requirements.

Convenience and mobility

As said, email fax is made for those who have faxing needs while they are on the move.

There are only two pre requisites for the internet fax service to work:  one is a computer and the other one is a working internet connection. Most of the fax services being web based gives a person the freedom of receiving faxes anywhere in the world; be it your bedroom at home, your work station at office or even your own laptop computer. The invention of Internet faxing is sort of a blessing in disguise for the professional who is always on the move, like sales agents, medical personnel, and real estate developers to name a few.

Suitable for all business levels

Whether it is a one room office in a deserted building or a multi storey building with a host of offices operating out of it; Internet faxing services is compatible with any scale of business. Larger faxing needs may translate into more discounts from your service providers. This by itself can save you a hefty sum of money in addition to meeting ones faxing needs.

Cost effectiveness is another key factor that remains the attraction of Internet faxing. Since the service makes use of the internet in order to have faxes sent and received, all that one has to do is sign up for the service. This can be done with a good service provider on a monthly or yearly basis. Plus you get to enjoy the many different schemes and discounts that the service providers have to offer at the time of purchase and later on as well.

One can also choose to open an online account with the online service provider. Once this facility has become a part of your deal, all that you need to do is log in to the account every time a fax needs to be sent or to check if any important faxes were received. An added advantage of this feature is that one can keep track of all sent and received faxes. As these faxes are usually sent as email attachments that entire one need to do is not hit the delete button, and the fax will be stored in your inbox for as long as you please. This saves up on a lot of storage space and also makes the faxes easier to sort and keep track of.

Service providers also provide attractive offers and package deals and most of them are designed to suit the corporate needs. Plus you also have the option of personalizing your package schemes, sometimes at no extra cost even. Thus internet faxing has become a necessity and not an option in the tech-savvy world today.

Computer Memory Controllers - How Do They Work?

By Jesse Miller

Controller

A computer system contains a first and second memory controllers; a first and second computer memory associated with the first and second memory controllers, a memory space; and firmware under control of which the computer system generates data that enables the first memory controller to use the first computer memory, saveing the data in the memory space, copies the data to the first memory controller, causing the first memory controller to use the first computer memory, and uses the first computer memory to initialize the second memory controller to use the second computer memory.

Reset

The computer firmware initiates a reset after saving the data; the computer system determines whether a current reset is firmware initiated; if the current reset is firmware initiated, the computer system copies the data to the first memory controller having the first memory controller to use the first computer memory, and uses the first computer memory to initialize the second memory controller to use the second computer memory; and if the current reset is not firmware initiated, the computer system generates the data that enables the first memory controller to use the first computer memory, and saves the configuration data in the memory space. Determining how much physical computer memory is present and useable, the memory controller uses the computer memory. To do so, it gathers type, size, speed and memory attributes from the memory modules and programs the memory controller accordingly. Once the memory controller has been configured, It will program a setting in the memory controller that triggers the memory controller to initialize the memory modules. Therefore, the complete configuration information is formatted and assembled, but not yet programmed into the memory. In this manner, it configures information with "virtual" registers having a one-to-one correspondence with the actual registers that are in the memory controller.

There are hundreds of Adware deletion programs on the push. Your best bet is to go to a place like Spybot Download It lists the best Adware Removers presently on the push. Or just google the speak "adware remover". Like I said, you'll find hundreds. Some are good, some aren't. Free Spybot is a great situate for you to see which ones work, but I know some of you just like to google, and that's approval too ;). Just get one, I feel bad having to current so wholly for something so nominal.

By Ilse Hagen

Computer cables and adapters allow you to connect your computer either to a network or to hardware. Several computer cables and adapters have emerged, but which one is right for your computer system? Read on to find out.

Types of computer cables and adapters

Computer networking cables connect your computer to a mother network. These tools are most commonly used in offices to connect the computer to a single server. Apart from networking cables, there are also USB, printer, and monitor cables. These cables all perform different functions in your computer. The Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable allows for hardware devices to be connected to your computer. USBs are best for plug-and-play devices. Printer cables connect the printer to your cable. Without it, you cannot print documents and images. Finally, a monitor cable connects the monitor to your computer.

Computer adapters

Computer adapters connect your computer to a computer network. There are several types of computer networks available. There is the 1394 net adapter port that connects your computer through a cable. This type of adapter provides FireWire ports for digital devices. Another type of adapter is the 1394 net adapter plug. A 1394 adapter connects to the computer directly.

Making the right choice

In choosing the right computer cables and adapters, it is important to check for compatibility. Do not just buy any cable or adapter – be sure that it is well-suited to your computer's, your laptop's, or your hardware's specifications. Also, for faster connections, choose only a 1394 net adapter that has a 800 Mbps transfer rate for better file transfers.

Super Micro-Charger

It seems that Proporta's products keep getting smaller. I just received an amazing little charger that is about a third smaller than the last one I reviewed from Proporta. But then it only has about half the storage capacity.

Proporta is now offering a Mobile Device Charger-Micro that will charge from any USB port. It will store up to 1700 mAh, which is enough power to gas up almost any portable device such as an MP3 player, camera, phone, GPS receivers and more. It does it amazingly quickly too.

It comes with an assortment of eight different adapter tips to fit the most commonly used formats. I have to insert one of my pet peeves here, which is the non-standardization of connectors. Why not just make a mini-USB connection standard so you can use the same cables for all devices? Anyway, if you don't find the connector you need for your device, ask Proporta, they may be able to supply the one you need. You get one free one with your order to fit your particular device.

The Proporta USB Mobile Device charger Micro is not compatible with the Microsoft Zune, Asus Eee PC, Apple iPhone or Nokia N95 8GB. If you are looking for a charging solution for your Nokia N95 8GB or iPhone, please see our Proporta USB Mobile Device Charger (USB Rechargeable Battery), which is compatible.

At first I lamented that the kit did not come with a car charger or an AC charger. But, sifting through my mobile kit paraphernalia I found a car charge that you can plug a USB cable into. I also found an AC charger that you can plug a USB cable into as well. So, I am pretty much set up to charge this little puppy about just about anywhere.

It's very simple to operate. It comes about 75% charged right out of the box so that you can start using it immediately. To charge it, just plug the USB cable into the in port and the other end into your computer. A series of blue lights flash to indicate charging and stay blue when fully charged. As the power in the unit decreases the blue lights diminish to indicate the power level.

To begin charging another unit with the mini-charger, select the appropriate adapter, connect the cable and push the power switch. As the power in the unit decreases the blue lights diminish to indicate the power level remaining.

In addition to the array of tips, it comes with a handy retractable cable, a USB cable with standard and mini tips and a nice nylon drawstring carrying bag.

You really should not leave home without one of these mini life-savers. You never know when you are going to run out of juice at a meeting, on a plane, or when your car is broken down. You'l l be glad you have this emergency backup supply to get you going again and again. Actually, it is supposed recharge the average device two and a half times.

To make this vital accessory part of your travel kit, go to http://www.proporta.com/search.php?q=mobile+survival+kit+micro.

It will set you back $44.95 plus $4.95 shipping. I deem this crisis-averter a must-have appurtenance and a prudent investment. I notice from the Website that you can add a car charger and AC charger as I mentioned above if you do not already have them. Unfortunately, the battery does not have enough hunk to recharge laptaps. For that, you will need Proporta's portable laptop battery.

The Need to Back-up Your Data

By CA Rose

On everyone's computer there is data that we don't want to lose. The odds are that you certainly have very important information on your computer too. Therefore, the need to back-up your data is very real. Here's why:

Hard drives fail every single day. The question isn't whether your hard drive will fail but rather when it will fail. As surely as every person will die, every hard drive will die too. And their life expectancy isn't long at all.

Some hard drives die a slow death. Slowly they accumulate bad clusters that make more and more of the hard drive unusable. Other times they just die out of the blue. And if you didn't see the need to back-up your data and you didn't do it, then all that information is lost forever. You will never, ever get it back.

There are any number of reasons why a hard drive will suddenly fail. Sometimes it's due to a flaw in the way it was made and sometimes it's because something from the outside has caused it to fail. Two of the most common causes for a hard drive suddenly failing are viruses and power surges.

So that you don't ever lose valuable information, you need to back-up your data right away. You can either back-up your data with remote data back-up software or you can back it up on your own disks. However, if you choose to back-up it up on disks than you need to be aware that over time disks will fail too and you may not be able to access the backed-up information when you need it.

The need to back-up your data is very real. Every day hard drives fail and every day people lose valuable information. It is gone forever and there's nothing that can be done to get it back. Don't let this happen to you. Back-up your data as soon as you possibly can.

Back-up your data with FREE remote software. Just click here: http://www.myremotedatabackupservice.com/

New SMS-Chat Threads Messages

If iPhone has proved anything, it's that there are a lot of what Robin Williams would call nose miners out there who enjoy using their index fingers for navigation among other things. It's what I'd call a picky bunch. If you are a Windows Mobile person who feels deprived, you will be glad to know that there is a whole suite of software introduced by Vito Technology that employs finger push navigation similar to the iPhone.

The latest release is SMS-Chat. If you are a Palm Treo packer, you already appreciate the virtues of threaded SMS messages and the convenience of having your messages all grouped together. That's what SMS-Chat will do for you. It opens up a whole new world for SMS organization and manipulation. But threading is not the only feature of SMS-Chat.

From within this application, you can easily delete, forward, resend messages, and add new contacts. You can also send the same message to multiple recipients, which I appreciate greatly.

When you invoke the program, all of your chats are listed in the main menu under the name of a recipient. You can scroll up or down the list using your finger to make the list glide like an air hockey puck. Select any entry and the whole thread of in and out messages involving that person appears. Tap on any message, a menu appears, and you can choose to delete, forward, resend, or cancel the message.

From the main, opening screen, tap the icon in the lower left of the screen to bring up a menu with the following options: About, Help, Language, Minimize, Exit, and Cancel.

To send a new message to a person in the list, select a name and just start entering text into the blue input panel at the bottom of the screen. When you're done, tap the envelop in the lower right corner, the message is launched, and a copy appears in the thread.

To initiate a new message to a new person, just tap on the icon with the pencil and envelop in the lower left corner and choose from the contact list. Your contact list will pop up in a new finger scrollable view, which makes it fun, but if your list is very long, you will soon grow weary scrolling and may wish to start typing in the person's name and let the predictive engine find it for you.

I was prepared to complain about the single line, blue input panel, but I soon discovered that it expands as you type to accommodate your text.

However, I am amazed that such a savvy developer as Vito would neglect to put in a character counter when the count is critical and there is a strict 160 character limit per message. I certainly hope a counter will be included in the next release.

I think it would be wonderful too if there were various ways that you could organize messages into groups by various criteria such as subject, date, recipients, color coding and so forth. Perhaps down the road Vito will make this possible too.

Depress the three bar red icon in the upper right corner of the screen to bring up a menu for adding recipients (as many as you wish), viewing contact information, deleting the chat, or cancelling the operation.

Push the arrow in the upper left, and you go back to the scrollable list of messages. And that, my friends, takes us back to where we started and completes the tour. Please be sure not to leave any of your valuables behind as you exit the vehicle.

SMS-Chat couldn't be simpler or more elegant, and it certainly adds important, missing functionality that has been seriously lacking in the Windows Mobile texting platform.

If you want to add this slick, new application to your pocket pal, just go to Vito's new http://iwindowsmobile.com site and download it. Try it out for 14 days free, kick the tires, and if you want to make it a permanent fixture, it will cost you $14.95. Be aware that Vito is very rigid about allowing only one license per application per installation. I tried to install it on a couple of my devices to test it, and I was out of luck. But that's only fair.

Note that this version only works on Windows Mobile 5/6 Classic and Professional models. If you have a Smartphone or Standard model, you are out of luck, which is just another reason not to have a non-touch screen device as far as I'm concerned.

Hey, while your visiting Vito's new iwindowsmobile site, check out its other offerings designed to make nose miners happy that include AudioNotes, FunContact, GoodWin, ZoomBoard, and AstroNavigator II, all of which I believe I've already reviewed.

The Nokia E51 And Bleu 555x - The Business Purpose Mobiles

by Chip

It you are an executive in the market for a suitable cell phone, Nokia's E series offers the best bang for the buck. The Nokia E51 is the latest from the venerable E series, and an apt successor to the hugely popular E50 model, which it will eventually replace. The E51 brings in new features at a price that's hard to beat.

The keypad is completely revised, with dedicated keys for Contacts, Calendar,E-mail and Home. The soft menu keys, however, are too small for comfort. The rest of the keypad is a delight-good tactile feedback, and key spacing is immaculate. The rubberised keys for volume up / down, push-to-talk and power are hard to operate, though.Nokia cell phones have nokia mobile software on various purposes .Like n73 mobile themes, nokia E 51 also have cool themes available online.

Features of E51:

The E51 feels peppy--it uses the same processor as on the flagship N95. With 130 MB of memory on board, you can do a lot of multitasking without the phone getting sluggish, and the memory can be expanded to 4 GB via the microSD slot (a 512 MB card comes bundled). The E51 runs on Symbian OS Series 60, and crams in lot of features besides the standard set. Most of these will go down well with executives--for example, the Advance call manager lets you manage incoming and outgoing calls efficiently. In addition, WorldMate, an application for frequent fliers, comes bundled. The E51 is a 3G, quad-band phone with HSDPA, Wi-Fi (802.11g), Bluetooth, Micro USB and an infrared port. There's a switch to turn Bluetooth on and off on the main keypad. Multimedia features include a good MP3 player, a 2MP camera with still and video shooting, and I'M radio. The phone supports various mobile themes.

Signal reception is good. as is voice clarity. Internet browsing speeds are faster than with the E50 or E61, thanks to the revised Web browser. The camera is above average, but loses performance in low-light conditions. The speakerphone is clear, with little or no echo on the recipient's side. We got around three days of batten-life with nominal usage and a terrific seven days of standby time.

Bleu 555x

The Bleu 555x is one new entrant in the cellphone market from the popular computer peripheral brand. Let's take a look at what it offers.

The 555x is a candy bar phone with a shiny front that is coated with transparent plastic which adds its own reflectivity to the phone's body. The keypad layout is simple and quite comfortable to use. There are the usual number keys, with a 5-way navigation pad and two soft keys on the side. Additionally there are volume control buttons on the right edge of the phone with a media key right under it. This media key launches the media player in standby mode and works as the shutter button in the camera application- Under these buttons is a port flap that reveals a connectivity port for the headset, and usb cable. The left edge of the phone has a micro SD slot that is covered with a rubber flap, and a slider to unlock the rear panel of the phone.

Features of Bleu 555x

The 555x has dual-band support with 900 and 1800 MHz networks. The rear of the phone features a 1.3 MP camera that has a portrait mirror and takes decent pictures. The camera application has controls for White balance, Exposure compensation, and supports burst mode.

The phone has a simple grid-based menu layout which supports the use of number keys as shortcuts to select options. The connectivity menu allows the user to switch Bluetooth on and off -- we'd like to mention here that the phone supports A2DP and thus can use stereo Bluetooth headsets for conversations or listening to music. Further in the 'Extras' menu there is a Planner App, a Perpetual Calendar, a voice recorder, photo editor, drawing board, calorie counter, world clock, currency and unit converter, and a stopwatch. There are the usual alarm features and a WAP browser that works well with EDGE support. The phone supports Java with the JWTI specification and the applications appear in the Java submenu in extras.

The phone features 60 MB of internal storage and the multimedia menu displays files stored in the phone and card memory; this also shows the amount of space used. However these files can not be opened from inside the media player, and have to be accessed from the multimedia file browser. The multimedia features of the phone also include the FM radio which can be scheduled to record transmissionsdirectly into the internal or external sttMJ in .Amr format.

Battery life is a decent 2 hours of talktime and 50 hours of standby intermittent use of multimedia feature i The package also includes an extra bad that can be used to double the uses of the phone.

The phone is a decent option albeit from a lesser known brand. -; j it does not skimp on features ana pre capabilities comparable to any other phi in its class.

What Is The Difference Between A Command Boot, Cold Boot And Warm Boot On A PDT6846?

By Andrew Jeremy

In the world of bar code terminals and data collection it is important to recognize that you may encounter a time where you need to reboot your bar code terminals. Most people don't know what the difference is between a cold boot and a warm boot; and how each affects their data collection equipment. This article is designed to eliminate some of that confusion and hopefully provide you with the necessary information on how to correctly recover your PDT6846 if it encounters an error from which it cannot recover.

A Command Boot on a PDT6846 is used to enter the bar code terminal into its command mode. The command mode is used mainly for testing and downloading programs onto the terminal. Much like going to the command prompt on your computer (run/cmd), various DOS commands can be entered and executed on the PDT6846.

A Cold Boot sometimes referred to as a cold start) is the start-up of the terminal from a powered down or off state. A cold boot resets RAM and reboots the program entered onto the NVM. Because a cold boot resets RAM it is important to recognize that any applicatons or data that has not been written to non-volatile memory will be lost.

A Warm Boot (sometimes referred to as a warm start) is the resetting of the PDT6846 once it has been powered on and has encountered an error that cannot be recovered. A warm boot will reset the PDT6846 but will retain any data that has been stored in the RAM.

Wicked Wireless Networks

By Sandy Cosser

People spend most of their working hours on computers, then go home to their pcs and spend more time mucking around on them. Laptops have become more affordable to the average Joe. It's not unusual to see people in coffee shops, sipping a latte' and typing furiously away. As our lives become more hectic, we constantly seek convenience, which, ironically, tends to increase the pace. With the birth of wireless networks we finally have the means to work everywhere, and no one has an excuse for being out of the loop. Good news for workaholics; bad news for all those who work for them.

Wireless networks, or WiFi, function in much the same way as two-way radios. A wireless adapter converts data into radio signals, which are transmitted via an antenna to a wireless router. The router decodes the signal and uses a wired Ethernet connection to send the data to the Internet. The process is simply reversed when data is sent back to the computer.

Having wireless adapters on your pcs and laptops is all good and well, but they're useless without WiFi hotspots. When you're in a hotspot your computer just needs to be switched on with the wireless connection enabled, for it to locate a network, which you can then connect to. Some cities are working to create hotspots that span the entire municipality, so that residents can have easy, reliable and inexpensive Internet access wherever they go. Hotspots are completely inconspicuous; the only way you'll know that you're in one is if you spot the signs advertising their presence.

Hybrid wireless networks offer the best of both worlds. Hybrid networks make it possible to connect your pc to a wired network and establish a second, wireless connection to your laptop. The process is a little more complicated than establishing a purely wireless network, especially if you use an old operating system such as Windows 95 or 98. But the potential benefits far outweigh the potential problems.

A step further along the road of convenience is the Apple iPhone. Instead of lugging a laptop around with you, all you need to stay connected is your phone. Apple's iPhone enables you to keep up to date with news from Digg and follow your favourite blogs. Rumours of a Gphone, Google's answer to the iPhone, have been around for over a year. The Gphone will allegedly allow users access to Google search maps, gmail, and Blogger, and that's just the beginning. Concrete information about the Google Phone is virtually impossible to come by, and Google remains curiously tight-lipped about the whole matter. This suits gossip mongers just fine as they continue to speculate about the phone's release, competition between Google and Apple, and the myriad of features that the Gphone is bound to have.

Wireless networks are not the way of the future; they are firmly established in the here and now. Science fiction writers of long ago dreamt of a future where technological devices communicated with each other and effortlessly exchanged information. We live in an age where that dream is a reality. Bluetooth, wireless networks and computer/phone hybrids such as the iPhone have made our lives significantly easier and that, in the words of Ron Weasely, is "wicked".

The Nokia E51 And Bleu 555x - The Business Purpose Mobiles

by Chip

Nokia E51

How to Fix a Wet Cell / Mobile Phone

by Dyfed Lloyd Evans

It's your worst nightmare, your phone has fallen from your pocket into a tub of water. You look on in horror and ask yourself if there's any way on earth you can fix a wet cell phone...

There are things you can do, but it all comes down to quick action. The plastic covers on most modern phones are fairly tight (indeed the phones are built to withstand showers) but over time water will enter the phone... So the quicker you get it out of the water the better. Unfortunately, the one section of the phone which isn't watertight is the battery compartment. After all it's intended to give you easy access to the battery and your SIM card.

As a result water will enter the battery compartment and it will short-out the battery. This is why you need to get the battery out as quickly as possible. Indeed, many circuits inside the phone will quite easily survive immersion in water as long as they are not attached to a power source. Also water is a very good conductor of heat. So even if you do have a short it may not necessarily damage the phone because of the water. This also means that the best thing you can do is to remove the battery whilst the phone is still under water and then bring the phone and the battery out of the water.

If your phone has dropped in the sea (or other salt water) then remove the phone's battery as above and immediately immerse the phone in fresh water or run it under a tap otherwise, as the salt water dries crystals of salt will form and these are sure to short-out your phone as soon as any power is applied.

Now remove your SIM card from the phone. If you phone is a GSM one then the chances are that you will have saved some (if not all) your contact details to the SIM card. Indeed, these data may be more valuable to you than the phone itself. SIM cards are solid state components and very resilient in general so the best thing for you to do is to pat it dry then place it somewhere safe to dry.

Now turn your attention back to the phone itself. What you need to do is to get the phone as dry as possible as quickly as possible. Use a towel, paper towels, tissue paper etc to blot away as much of the surface water as you can. Now you will need to get the remainder of the phone as dry as possible as quickly as possible.

What you can't do is so simply leave the phone to air-dry by itself as prolonged exposure to water will damage a number of the components and if the water itself isn't particularly clean, or you come from a hard water area mineral deposits left as the phone dries will cause even more damage.

Remove as many of the phone's covers as you can and open any slots so that air can pass through the phone. Now stand your phone next to a hairdryer. Set this on the lowest setting (or just blow air) and don't set it too close to the phone (too much heat will damage the phone's components just as surely as too much water will). Leave the phone for about 5 hours. Come back to the phone and prop it up on tissue paper so that one of the phones openings (speaker jack, charging port, data port etc) lies directly above the paper. Leave for a few minutes and check to see if any moisture has dripped out. If any moisture can be seen repeat the hair drying step. Continue this process until you see no more moisture.

Now comes the brave part. After you have left your phone for at least a day (longer might be better) re-attach the battery to see if it works. If your phone does not work remove the battery but plug the phone into the mains. If it works then you're in luck, but your battery is dead and you need a new one.

You should now take the phone to an authorized dealer. They may be able to fix it for you (though they may not). Tell the truth about what has happened to the phone and don't try and conceal the fact that the phone became wet (there are indicator strips inside the phone that change colour if it ever comes in contact with water). Sometimes they may be able to fix your phone, particularly if you have undertaken the steps above.

You can find even more tips and 'if all else' help plans at How to Rescue a Wet Mobile / Cell Phone. There are complete disassembly instructions for many brands and makes of mobile phones at Mobile Phone Disassembly Guides.

How To Change Your Phone To A T.V Remote!

by Daniel Millions

Don't you find it annoying when you loose your TV remote? What about when someone steals the batteries out of it? Well now with the special software, its now possible to turn your mobile phone into a Universal TV remote. There are several pieces of software available to do this what can be uploaded and installed on your mobile phone.

The software can be downloaded from various mobile software vendors. The program is written for Symbian based mobile phones, so the likes of Nokia (See List) will support it.

Once you found the software, upload it onto your Nokia and install it. Below are instructions on how to upload files to your Nokia and what you will need to do so.

Three items you will need are Nokia mobile phone (see list below), USB data cable or Bluetooth USB dongle and Nokia PC Suite.

Firstly, install the Nokia PC Suite software onto your computer, you can easily get this software off the Nokia website. Once installed, connect your Nokia Mobile to the computer via USB Cable, the software should automatically detect your phone.

Load up the PC Suite software. On the main screen, you should see 'File Manager' option, click on that and it will open up a window with your mobile phone directory. Here you can find all your files like video recordings and photos.

Simply drag the Software over to your mobile phone directory and allow it a minute or so to upload.

About the various softwares:

The software turns your phone into a universal remote so you can use it on wide range of products, ranging from TVs to Air conditioners (See list). The software can download the latest software for new TVs and Devices. I've tried it on nearly ever device in my house and the software has at least a decent compatibility.

The menus are fairy strait forward, when it loads up you will be faced with a list of devices to select from. Select the device of choice and then you will be faced with a list of 'Brands' of that product. For this example, we will select TV and go into Brand 'JMV' List.

Now, the software will connect to the database and find all the latest models and Plugin required for the individual TVs, Once downloaded it wont need to be downloaded again. Once downloaded, it will give you a list of specific models in the TV Brand. For me, I will select 'ED20002'.

Once the model of TV is selected, you will see an image appear, very similar to a TV remote button layout. This will give you an idea on what keys to press on your mobile phone to do various features on your mobile phone.

So what are you waiting for? Give it a try and play some tricks in the office! Hours of fun can be made with this simple little feature on your mobile phone.

Registry Toolkit Review -- How Does This Program Compare?

by Thomas Eliot

When put up against some of the industry leaders in registry repair, Registry Toolkit scores high marks as a registry repair utility. Although it lacks some interesting user features, the job it does in identifying registry files needing repair is more than adequate. Where it falls down in comparision with several of the industry leaders is in being able to give the user an idea of the severity of the errors it finds. Also, its graphic user interface is a little less user friendly than many of its peers'.

What Registry Toolkit has going for it is a powerful search algorithm which finds and isolates files needing repair or elimination. It also contains many of the most popular extra features that users have come to expect from their registry cleaner. These include a Browser Helper Object Manager, a Startup List Manager, an Uninstall Manager, and an Internet Explorer Backup/Restore Manager. It, of course, will back up the registry before making any changes.

In scanning our test system, Registry Toolkit found some 79 errors for fixing. It picked up quite a few more items for repair than our resident registry utility, although this was considerably less than what some other utilities found. However the program does not allow the experienced user to view which files are being targeted for repair. A list of these items does show up in the background, but as soon as you click a button they disappear. This can be a little disconcerting if you are a hands on user who likes to verify which files are being indicated. Also, there are no disk optimization capabilities in the extra features; although this is rather a minor point.

One area in which this product excells is in its help files, which are stored online. The online user's manual does a good job in explaining what this program is capable of doing and how to take advantage of its features. Another area which commercial users in particular may wish to consider is that licensing this program for more than one machine will be less costly than it will with others of the leading registry cleaners in the industry. A commercial user can purchase unlimited computer licenses for just under $90; this is a generous break as most other cleaners list this price in the hundreds of dollars range.

For what it provides and the protection it yields, Registry Toolkit certainly ranks up in the top registry cleaners in the industry. If you are able to overlook the sparce and not very eye-pleasing graphic user interface and trust that its judgment in choosing files for repair is solid, then this is definitely a good value for the money.

For another opinion of this registry utility, you can visit Review of Registry Toolkit to read another evaluation of Registry Toolkit.
