SCSI CRC Boot Errors May Cause Data Loss in Linux

By Allen Sood

Booting errors are very common in Linux operating system, which makes your system unbootable and unusable. The errors prevent your system from booting and render it totally inaccessible. They prove to be a big threat to your precious data. Such errors usually occur after unexpected system shutdown and hard drive data structure corruption.

Losing data from hard drive in such situations creates big problems for your business. So, you need to restore data from the latest backup to prevent data loss. However, in case backup is not updated or available, Linux Recovery solutions come to your help.

When you face boot errors, your Linux system refuses to boot properly. There are various types of boot errors, depending upon the type and cause of failure. One such error is SCSI CRC error. You may come across the below error message when your Linux operating system loads:

"Creating Root Device

mounting root filesystem

(scsi:0:0:0:0) CRC error during data-in phase

(scsi:0:0:0:0) CRC error in intermediate CRC packet

scsi: aborting command due to timeout: pid 0, scsi 0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0 read (10)......"

The above error halts Linux boot process, making your hard drive inaccessible. To retrieve lost data in such cases, identify the problem and perform Data Recovery Linux by resolving it.

Cause

On the first appearance, this issue seems to be associated with hardware problems, but this is not the case. You may face this behavior due to any of the below reasons:

• Damaged or missing /boot directory from Linux operating system installation.

• File system error or corruption.

• Missing or corrupted initrd.

/boot directory is a major component of Linux operating system, which contains critical information about booting parameters and process. While initrd is a temporary data structure, which makes preparations before mounting of root file system.

Resolution

Use Rescue CD of Linux operating system to overcome this problem by restoring damaged /boot directory and initrd. When it fails, go for Linux Data Recovery software to retrieve lost data.

The Linux Data Recovery applications are able to scan damaged Linux hard drive and extract all lost data from it. They have read-only conduct on the drive to ensure safe recovery, without modifying original data on the disk.

Stellar Phoenix Linux Data Recovery is the most comprehensive and advanced utility to ensures absolute recovery of lost data. The software works well with all major distributions of Linux operating systems, such as SUSE, Debian, Red Hat, Ubuntu, and Fedora. It recovers data from Ext4, Ext3, Ext2, FAT32, FAT16, and FAT12 file system volumes.

Binkw32 DLL Errors - How to Fix DLL Errors Caused by Binkw32

Binkw32.dll is a file that's used by the "Bink Video Player" program to render graphics and play videos on your PC. It's often used by many different games to help your computer run the various graphical interfaces that games have, making this file a very important one for your system. The only problem is that binkw32.dll is prone to become corrupted and damaged, and is often showing errors. Here's how to fix this issue...

The first thing you need to do to fix this error is to first locate if binkw32.dll is one your system and where it is placed. To do this, you must search your entire PC for the file and if it's in a folder OTHER than C:\Windows\System32, you need to copy the file and place it in that folder. This will give your game / program a way to find the file and will likely fix the problem in 90% of cases.

If you perform this search and cannot find binkw32.dll on your system, it suggests that this file is not actually on your PC at all. If this is the case, you should download a fresh copy of the binkw32.dll file and then place that copy into the C:\Windows\System32 folder of your PC. This will hopefully stop any of the "Binkw32.dll is missing" errors that often show up on Windows.

If those steps do not work, you should then reinstall the file program or game that's causing the problem in the first place. To do this, you should first uninstall the program to make sure that all the settings and files have been deleted and then you should install a fresh copy onto your PC. This will replace all the files that the program uses, and should put a fresh copy of the binkw32.dll file onto your system as well.

You should also make sure that you conduct a virus scan, to remove any of the virus infections that many computers have on them. Because binkw32.dll is quite an important file, many viruses will actually target this particular file to infect. they will cause the file to become corrupted and unreadable by Windows - causing the error. You really need to use an antivirus program to clean out any potential viruses on the system and make sure your computer can read all the files it needs.

A registry cleaner is also recommended to fix this error. What happens for most people, is that the 'registry' database of Windows becomes damaged and leads your PC to be unable to read the files it needs to run. More specifically, the registry stores a large list of DLL files that various programs can then read. This list often becomes damaged and leads Windows to become unable to read the files that many programs need, making your system highly unstable. Using a registry cleaner will fix this problem and will resolve most DLL errors on your system.

You can fix binkw32.dll error on your PC by using the tutorial and tools on our website. You can Click Here to fix the binkw32.dll error on your PC.

Parking Lot Sweeping - What Equipment Do I Need to Start My Business?

By Daniel A Gonzalez

So you want to start a parking lot sweeping business. Well when you get out to the lot at night what are you going to need to do? Obviously you will need a parking lot sweeper, but you will want to make sure to get the one that is right for you. There are roughly four categories of power sweepers and they are used for different purposes. You will want to identify which one will be suitable for you. There are a few different kinds of technology used in parking lot and street sweepers, some are mechanical, some use regenerative air, and some use a fan based vacuum. Please keep in mind that the technology used is not really relevant for someone starting in the business. I recommend focusing on results, i.e. parking lots that are clean once you've left. With that in mind here are the most relevant sweeper categories:

Truck Mounted: This type of sweeper is mounted on a pick-up truck chassis. For example a Ford 150, GMC Sierra, or Chevrolet S-10 chassis. The truck beds on these trucks are removed, and a sweeper unit is mounted in it's place. The cab remains the same. These trucks may have one or two sweeper arms, and are intended for sweeping parking lots. It's very normal to see these trucks having only one sweeper arm, because that's all that is really required to clean curbed areas in a parking lot. They are also good for cleaning parking garages, because multistory garages often have a low ceiling clearance. Since this type of sweeper is mounted on a consumer vehicle it can easily meet the clearance requirement. Street sweepers generally require sweeping arms on both sides, because they are intended to clean the streets. This type of parking lot sweeper is not intended to clean streets, and often does not come with two sweeping arms.

Box Truck Mounted: This type of sweeper is also used to clean parking lots, but they are used for larger lots. They are capable of sweeping larger areas without filling the hopper as quickly (the hopper is where the garbage that gets sucked up is stored). These types of sweepers would be used to clean parking lots for retail super centers, or large shopping malls.

Street Sweeper: This kind of sweeper is used by municipalities, cities, and counties to clean the streets. This is the kind of sweeper that gets accompanied by ticket writing meter maids that strike when you forget to move your car on sweeping days. They are very large, and are not relevant for someone looking into starting a parking lot sweeping business.

Construction Sweeper: These are very heavy duty road sweepers. They are often used in construction clean up and are capable of sucking up bricks, nails, and pieces of 2 x 4. You will often see these kinds of sweepers on the free way when there is road construction. They are there to remove the gravel and junk that emerges when crews are working on roads. This kind of sweeping tends to have a very high profit margin because the work is project based, and since these kinds of jobs come up when construction projects require them they afford charging more money.

Miscellaneous: There a couple other kinds of sweepers worth mentioning. There are sweeper units that are designed to slide into the bed of a pickup truck. They are best described as truck mounted vacuum units, and they do not come with a sweeper arm. These are great for people starting out, and great for landscaping contractors. It isn't really necessary to have a sweeping arm, with these units you would blow all debris into the direct path of the truck and the vacuum unit will suction all the garbage up. Slide in sweeper units can deliver the same results as sweepers with a sweeping arm. Second, there are tow-behind sweeper units. These kinds of sweepers are good to have as a backup sweeper, and good for people just starting out in the parking lot sweeping business. You can purchase one of these sweepers much cheaper than all the other types. These will work to help you get started up.

Now you know what kind of sweepers are relevant for your needs. Since you are interested in starting a parking lot sweeping business you will also need more equipment.

Equipment
• A Leaf Blower
• High Visibility Reflective Safety Jacket
• GPS Navigation
• Sturdy Work Boots

That's all you need to you need once you've determined what sweeper is right for you. Once you have this equipment you are pretty much ready to start your business cleaning parking lots.

Danger Zone in Red, Green and Blue Lasers

By Adam Garnett

Some lasers are not the average laser pointers that can be found at any regular electronics store. They can burn dark roles, dark objects, melt plastics, pop balloons, light matches, open bar fragile materials and some can even light cigarettes. Some laser pointers offer power up to 700mW. These lasers are the most powerful in the world and so close to a real life thing to know that there laser.

Pointers with high power laser

In recent years, high power lasers have emerged in the consumer market from the military and specialty applications investigating a series of specialized suppliers. These pointers high power laser can easily exceed several hundred milliseconds-watt output power. They are generally classified as Class IIIb lasers. Although laser enthusiasts still take them as "pointers", true high-power portable lasers - far more capable than the average laser pen key chains (under 5mW) that can be found anywhere.

Green laser pointers

The green lasers are renowned for their small beam diameter and high output power. With the inherent human sensitivity to green, the green laser pointers laser beams creates more powerful and brighter than can be seen anywhere. These beams carry the destructive power so great that almost any object passing through fusible and flammable. They also travel tens and hundreds of miles in the dark. Exceptional power, energy beam of high intensity and super long distance, all these create a pheromone seen only in science fiction movies. Because of these characteristics, these lasers are commonly used by astronomers to study the stars because they usually can visually see the stars coming from the perspective here. It is often also seen in U.S. military operations to disorient and intimidate the enemy, due to its unique beam qualities and highly durable construction.

Because of these features, these lasers are best used by astronomers to study stars for they can often be seen visually reaching the stars from the prospective of a behold. They are often seen in U.S. military operations to disorient and intimidate the enemy as well due to their exceptional qualities and highly durable beam constructions.

Red laser pointers

The red laser pens drive higher output power on red laser pointers. They are exceptionally suitable for burning and offer prices. These red pointer pens can point to a point a hundred miles away and burn, cut and sweep the plastic like their green counterparts. They constantly shed their laser pointer 5mW average over 50x in terms of range, energy to burn and durability.

Blue laser pointers

The blue laser technology is still in its adolescent stage. Since it is very start, is dedicated to developing and marketing this new laser technology and challenging.

Our series is one of the few blue lasers pointer pen with beams more powerful than you can find anywhere in the universe of blue laser.

5 "Cheap" Resources to Get Your Online Business Off the Ground

By Kevin Mastaw

Of all the books, seminars, tapes, CD's, blogs, etc. that I've read, heard or watched, these 5 contain all the necessities that, if diligently followed and applied, will launch your internet based business and virtually guarantee it's success.

I suggest that you read these in order to obtain optimal results:

1. "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki

It's been 11 years since Kiyosaki wrote his first best-seller but it continues to retain it's position near the top of almost every business book list. Why? In this tale of Kiyosaki's two dads, the differences between how rich people think about the world and how poor people think about the world are clearly portrayed. The lesson of this book is that success in life starts between your ears. If you are not financially where you think you should be, then the first thing you need to do is start thinking like the people who are where you want to be.

2. "Cash Flow Quadrant" by Robert Kiyosaki

What is the "cash flow quadrant"? Simply stated, it's one of the four ways that people earn income: 1) As an employee, 2) as a self-employed person (i.e. doctors, lawyers, etc.), 3) Business Owner and 4) Investor. This book explains the differences between each of the quadrants and why it is desirable for you to move out of the "E" (employee) quadrant and into the "B" (business-owner) and "I" quadrants.

3. "The Four Hour Workweek" by Timothy Ferriss

In "The Four Hour Workweek", Mr. Ferriss introduces us to the "new rich". These are people who may not have the most money, but they have enough "leveraged-income" to live the lifestyle that they want. He doesn't stop there, though. Ferriss shows you how to, first, design your desired lifestyle and then shows you how to design your work around it. I can give personal examples of how this has worked in my life and the lives of several personal contacts who now enjoy the life they've always wanted.

4. "Internet Riches" by Scott Fox

Scott Fox has been involved in marketing on the internet since the early '90's - just after Al Gore invented it. He has been the consultant on many successful marketing sites including http://www.billoreilly.com. In his books, "Internet Riches" and "e-Riches 2.0", Scott introduces you to tools, tricks, tips and strategies in launching a successful e-business, literally overnight and, in many cases for no money out of pocket. Even better, Scott keeps himself accessible to answer questions through his websites (e.g. scottfox.com, clickmillionaires.com), blogs and regular podcasts through blogtalkradio.com. Scott is truly committed to help develop a new generation of financially independent e-entrepreneurs.

5. "The Renegade Network Marketer" by Ann Sieg

I've literally watched Ann's progress from being a frustrated network marketer to, now, running an internet marketing training empire in only 5 short years. While the title of this book may sound like it's geared toward network marketers, it's lessons are applicable to anyone who is serious about generating leads for their products or business on the internet - and developing an income stream through the marketing activities themselves.

I feel so strongly about these 5 books that I REQUIRE anyone, who wants to partner with me, to prove to me that they've read them first before I'll sit down with them. (Yes, I even have a test.) Business, online or offline, for that matter, is tough enough. These 5 books make it easier and are as close to a short-cut as there is.

Kevin Mastaw has lived in Nashville, TN, since early 2007 after living in Milwaukee, WI for 15 years. In Milwaukee, Kevin built a successful network marketing and internet marketing business. Now, he coaches and teaches others how to do the same. Kevin is also the host of, "Kevin and the Giant Peach" - an internet radio show on blogtalkradio.com - where he interviews average individuals who are building their businesses on the internet.

Want to Test Drive an Apple iPad? We Show You How

By Clare Swindlehurst

The Apple iPad is the newest and hottest gadget on the block right now. If you want a handheld device that lets you play games, surf the net, watch movies and listen to music then you can't go wrong with Apple's newest offering. But what if you don't have $500 to spare right now? Well, the answer is a free iPad!

Many people are suspicious of freebies these days as they've been conditioned to think that there is some sort of catch involved. The fact is that when a company releases a new product they need people to test it, play with it and then give their opinion of it. This is how companies market their products, by building a buzz, and the best way to do that is to give people like you a free copy of the product to test out.

Apple could spend thousands of dollars on advertising the product, or they could just give you a free copy and let you do the advertising for them. If you love the product (and admit it, what's not to love?) then you'll tell your friends about it, you might even talk about it on Facebook or write a post about it on your blog. The truth is that word of mouth marketing is so much more powerful than any TV or magazine advertising, so you're doing Apple a favour.

You see, by giving away a number of products to people like you Apple can have their products tested by the man on the street without actually spending any money on research. It's really quite clever if you think about it. You feel privileged to get something for nothing and the company benefits from the exchange too.

What's more every time they give away a product as amazing as the iPad they actually gain a new lifetime customer. Trust me, once you have one Apple product you'll never go back to the pale imitations. I started my relationship with Apple by buying an iMac, then I just had to have an iPhone and now I dream about iPads. So you get a free product and Apple gets free advertising and you as a customer for life. Everyone wins.

The only downside is that the free versions of these products are only available during the launch phase, which means if you want one you have to act quickly before all of the review copies have been snapped up. There are a number of websites online offering free iPads for testing so you need to make sure that you only sign up at the legitimate sites. If you are asked for money in exchange for your free iPad then walk away as it's most likely a scam.

If you want to test out this fantastic new product and then get to keep it (and be the envy of all of your friends) then you should click here to grab your free Apple iPad now!

You can test a brand new iPad and keep it without spending a penny by visiting http://freegadgetsonline.info/

Is Apple Creating a Search Engine For the iPad and iPhone?

By Robert Levin

In addition to the iAd ad platform that is rumored to be released, there are a few other things that point to an Apple search engine coming in the future. Walt Mossberg of Piper Jaffray has made some salient points about Apple's desire to not 'give the farm away' as far as data to Google goes among other things.

As long as Google is used for search on Apple mobile devices, it will have open access to see how iPhone and iPad users are using the devices. They can then use this information to better compete with Apple with their own Android phone devices and upcoming Android tablets.

In addition, the mobile ad market is still in its infancy. This is a market that Apple probably does not want to cede to Google as there are significant profits to be made there in the coming years.

So strategically, it makes sense for Apple to create their own search for mobile platform. It is the only logical way that Apple will be able to compete with Google in the mobile sphere long term. But what would an Apple search engine look like? What would it be called? I've done some research into recent Apple patents and have come across what I think points us in the direction that Apple is going.

In 2007, Apple applied for a patent on the name iGuide. There are at least 3 separate patents that I can tell for that name issued to a dummy corporation called iGuide Media. IGuide Media was outed as a dummy Apple corporation several months ago on some of the other Apple news sites such as Macrumors. If you read the description of the patents carefully they seem to be descriBing a form of categorization and/or search function that would do what in essence is combine functionality similar to the 'Genius' function on iTunes with search. This would enable the entire internet to be parsed and sectioned into video, music, images and text and have the user find 'similar' types of media.

The key difference it seems between the iGuide and a normal search engine would be the ability to search not only via text keywords as is standard today with Google, Bing, yahoo, etc, but to search or compare directly in other formats as well. Imagine being able to click on a song for instance that you like and tell iGuide to search for similar types of songs that you might like? Or imagine clicking on a video game that you like and having the iGuide search the net for other games of similar type that you would like? The same could be done for images and any other kind of media.

Results would then be shown not simply as lists of text as they are on search engines today, but as iTunes like categories that fit with the kind of media searched for. In a nutshell, it's 'Genius' for the entire mobile internet. Of course, Apple might be taking search into an entirely different direction altogether but I believe this 'Genius' approach is the most likely and that the 'iGuide' will break new ground in mobile search.

Make sure to visit http://www.iPadstore.com for all the latest on Apple mobile news.

Noise Cancelling Report - Shure E5c Sound Isolating Earphones Review

By Shannon Garner

The Shure E5c Sound Isolating Earphones is just plain better when you are talking about headphones. The belief is that when you have a larger pair of headphones that fully covers and isolates your ears. The Shure E5c Sound Isolating Earphones will give you something new to think about. Now pay close attention to this new line of thought: Tiny is better.

Shure has figured out a way to fit in dual-driver speakers into the tiny earphones that will keep you from hearing just about all the noise in the background. If you are ok with looking like a secret service agent, and you don't mind spending more on your earphones than you would an ipod, the Shure E5c's will not let you down. You really do get what you pay for with this amazing design.

Even though the E5c earbuds are bigger than other earbuds that you have seen, they are still amazingly small. The cord that comes with it has a inline crossover that separates the low and high frequency signals. Also included is a bendable stiffening material inside the cable that goes behind your ears, which allows you to loop the cables over and behind your ears which lets you listen to your music discreetly.

Another great feature of these Shure E5c Sound Isolating Earphones is that they are very light and low profile. You can fold them up into a small carrying case which makes these earphones easy for you to carry around.

The input connector has a low profile elbow bend to prevent accidental unplugging and snags. Shure also has put in a detachable in-line volume attenuator which lets you control the volume without having to mess your MP3 player or listening device.

The attenuator is a bit bigger than it needs to be and, because it is not directly built into the e5c cord, you will need to plug it in at the end of the cord. In order to try and match he earphones to ears of all different shapes and sizes, the Shure E5c Sound Isolating Earphones comes with several earplug "sleeves" which are called a "fit kit". Our testers had a bit of trouble finding a sleeve that felt comfortable. The most comfortable ones were the expanding foam sleeves that expand to fit into the contours of the ear canal.

Let's take a look at all the earphone features.

Hear only what you want to with the Sound Isolating in-ear design
very lightweight and portable design - only weighing 1.1 ounce
Dual high-energy micro in-ear speakers
In-Line Crossover to enhance a studio quality sound

Pros

1. Compact and Simple design
2. Designed for compatibility with almost all ears
3. Get ready to get lost in sonic bliss

Cons

1. It does cost more than most things that it plugs into
2. It could be a bit too big for small ears
3. The volume attenuator could be somewhat better designed and integrated

Overall, for the price that they charge for these, you will find no better earphones. Sure there are better ones out there, but you will have to pay a lot more for just a slight increase in capabilities.

Check out my review site for the best reviews on Shure E5c Sound Isolating Earphones. It is my website that is devoted to helping you find the best Noise Cancelling Headphones. The most popular Noise Canceling Headphones on the market have been reviewed here.
