Nokia 6500 Slide Review

No one needs an introduction to Nokia. We all know about the company. Let us take a look at one of the pieces that interested me a lot, the Nokia 6500 slide phone. Last year in the month of May, Nokia announced the release of two phones in the 6500 series. The 6500 classic is also a sleek mobile phone but it is fairly simple as compared to the phone we are about to review. The 6500 slide mobile phone interests me with its slide factor, its stainless steel body work and its camera. It has an auto focus digital camera with Carl Zeiss lenses. This phone is as sleek as it can get. It does not fail to impress. The body boasts a brushed stainless steel finish and some evidently hard coating which should help protect your phone from those awful scratches and marks. The Nokia 6500 slide also sports a very good battery. The battery provides you with 6 hours of talk time and about 310 hours on standby.

One of the best features of the phone is its 3.2 mega pixel camera with Carl Zeiss lense. This handy gadget has the ability to share videos, pictures and video calls on television. The colour display is fantastic and has the ability to display up to 16 million colours; hence viewing websites on your phone is fun.

There is no doubt that while designing this amazing hand phone that maximum usability was kept in mind. The phone provides large keys and perfect balance which makes it easy to use. The slide mechanism which is a big hit nowadays works well on this phone. The phone provides you with a built in Mp3 player which basically means you can enjoy your favourite music on your phone. Think about it, with this one phone, you can rid yourself of having to carry a camera or an I-pod or disk man. I vote this phone as a keeper.
